SUMMARY:STEERHEAD REGATTA
DESCRIPTION:The Steerhead Regatta is an annual “Head Type” rowing regatta hosted by the Fort Worth Rowing Club and held on the Trinity River from  the 4th St Bridge area to the Beach Street Bridge.   A “Head” race is one in which the boat/crew rows against the clock and is compared to the other boats/crews in their event to determine the winners.   Teams from across the local area (Dallas\, Austin\, Houston\, The Woodlands\, Oklahoma City\, San Antonio) are expected to compete.   The event is being held in accordance with US Rowing rules\, regulations\, and standards. \nFind us on Facebook!
