PERMIT FORM
A special operating permit is required for any commercial activity or event on Tarrant Regional Water District (“TRWD”) property.
TRWD property includes but not limited to 72 miles of Trinity Trails, Marine Creek Lake and Eagle Mountain Park, herein referred to as “TRWD Property”. To view a map of the Trinity Trails that is considered TRWD property, click here.
In an effort to assist with trail congestion and overall trail usage awareness, any event with 100 participants or more that has received an executed permit from TRWD will be included on the TRWD Recreation Calendar found here.
More than 100 Participants
Usage of TRWD Property for any commercial activity or event with 100 or more participants must submit a Special Operating Permit Application and proposed route to TRWD within a minimum of 90 days of the proposed event date. Event date and route will be reviewed for any potential conflicts with other events on permitted on TRWD Property. If approved, a permit will be issued and event producer must add TRWD as an additional insured on event’s certificate of liability insurance. Requirements will be provided.
Less than 100 Participants
Usage of TRWD Property for any commercial activity or event with less than 100 participants is considered more of a “social gathering” and does not require a permit issued from TRWD. However, as a courtesy, TRWD would still like to be informed of these smaller groups so that we can help keep these groups informed of any larger events that may be taking place at the same time as well as to help prevent any potential collisions along the trails between the smaller and larger groups.
