Fort Worth Police Officers’ Association’s Cops for Kids BBQ Cook Off
This BBQ cook off is sanctioned by the International Barbecue Cooker’s Association. (go to ibcabbq.org for complete rules) Prize Money $8,000. Friday night join us for music by party band, Professor D. Saturday at 10 a.m. BBQ judges needed for Beans, Brisket, Ribs and Chicken. Fun Kid Zone & music by Texas Country Artist Tanner Fenoglio. Cops for Kids is our 501 c3 non-profit organization founded in 2003. Our organization serves our disadvantaged youth in Fort Worth by providing scholarships, school supplies, social activity opportunities and clothing. It doesn’t end there we encourage quality friendships and education. Our funding is generated through the generosity of our citizens and business community.
